Aging gay people
Long before I met my husband, I closed my eyes one night I began to think what will happen to me when I am elderly gay man, How will I be treated in assisted living, How will my caregivers treat me as a gay man. The next morning I awoke with that same thing on my mind. I sat down at the computer and yahooed and what I found was shocking.
There was next to nothing on the subject only articles and very little as way of support groups and orginazations......that was 2001.
The good news
That was 10 years ago... today there are a few organizations that I listed here to the left.
With your help I would like to add more please contact me if you or any one you know of is part of any organization that is supporting the GLBT elderly populations
